Heritage Oil

Summary

The Client (Heritage Oil) is medium size, tier 2, versatile, Petro chemical organisation, with a portfolio of assets managed by an experienced team with technical, commercial, and financial skills. The Company has producing assets in Nigeria and Russia and exploration assets in Tanzania, Papua New Guinea, Ghana, Malta and Libya.

The Client at the time had employees operating in particularly hostile regions, often alone or as small groups with slight security oversight or protection.

Challenge

The Client’s modus operandi was to operate in hostile and challenging regions of the world, where most energy operators would be leaving, the client would be seizing an opportunity and venture in.

Due to the experienced nature of its employee’s, adept to operating in these regions, it was an additional challenge to convince veteran oil people the advantages of having this system of protection.

The Solution

To deliver the PR!SM Common Operating Platform (COP) in order to enable the client to monitor its employee’s & assets, provide timely information & intelligence on the regions it was currently operating, or wishing to invest in.

Additional capabilities included a global Incident Management System (IMS), HR database, online E-Training, and Travel Management. This system would also deliver a native App to provide each employee the ability to check in, call for help, and remain updated on the latest news feeds & threats, in addition to the client being able to mass communicate messages to its employees.

The Results

After a short period of development with the client, both the PR!SM (COP) and the SAFE App was deployed and operated across the company offices; in Jersey, London (Tech office), Tanzania, Papua New Guinea, and Nigeria. In addition, all 450 employees and family benefitted from the use of the SAFE App, which offered a 24/7 SOS & Call for help service. The PR!SM System has been in place for 4 years.
